Sadhu Vaswani International School, Bangalore, is part of the Sadhu Vaswani Educational Institutions that are spread across India. Sadhu Vaswani, our revered founder, established the Mira Movement in Education, which centered on character-building, spiritual awakening, and service. His noble work was carried forward by Revered Dada J.P. Vaswani and the movement has grown by giant strides under Dada’s leadership and guidance. He expanded the vision of Sadhu Vaswani and ensured blending progressive education with character-building.

Important Milestones

1933

The Mira School for Girls was inaugurated, and this school laid the cornerstone of the 'Mira Movement In Education'. After partition, Pune was selected as the headquarters for Sadhu Vaswani’s work and for the school.

1950

St. Mira’s Educational Board was constituted under the Chairmanship of Maharishi D.K. Karve.

1962
St. Mira’s College was founded by Sadhu Vaswani as the first college set up exclusively for women in Pune.
1987 - 2012
Establishment of various schools across India, namely, Sadhu Vaswani International School in Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pradikaran (Pune), Sadhu Vaswani School for Girls in Rajkot, Sadhu Vaswani School in Ahmedabad, and Sadhu Vaswani Vidya Mandir in Vadodra.
